(London: Dulau & Company 1929). First UK SIGNED LIMITED EDITION. Limited to 1,000 copies this being # 888. Publisher's green buckram boards with gilt lettering to the spine. Gilt top edge. Offsetting to both sets of end-papers and faint foxing to the fore and bottom edges - which has not spread into the inner text - otherwise a fine copy in like dustwrapper very slightly toned to the spine but with no wear, tears or pieces missing. The dustwrapper reproduces the frontispiece by John Nash. Bevelled edges. A sublime copy that would grace any gastronomy collection. Photographs/scans available upon request.
