A woman in Bavarian costume standing in the doorway of a wooden alpine hut to left, next to her, two seated women and a goat; three cows to right; Bavarian mountains in the background. At bottom signed and dated in the plate and titled "Eine Alpe". 11,3 x 17 cm.*Andresen III, 199.6. In database British Museum. The animal and landscape painter and etcher Sebastian Habenschaden liked to paint the shepherds on the Upper Bavarian alps (oberbayerischen Almen). - Below blindstamp of the Radir Club München (not in Lugt).
