MASON, A.E.W. Two Autograph Letters Signed. Each one page, on a folded sheet with the imprinted address "17 Stratton Street." The letters are dated April 18 and April 24 respectively but no year. Both are addressed to Ms. [Lady?] McLaren. [1]: "I will be very happy to dine with you on Tuesday 7th May at 8. Yours sincerely, A.E.W. Mason. [2]: "I am so sorry. I sent this the day I received your invitation; only I sent it to Eaton [illegible word]; and just got it back this moment from the dead letter office. If the delay means that you have filled up the place, please don't hesitate to say so. I ought to have been more careful. Yours sincerely, A.E. W. Mason." Both letters are in very good condition (little soil very lower portion of the first letter). $100.00. Seller Inventory # 14435
