Voyagers III: Star Brothers by Ben Bova (Signed) Easton Press Firm square copy still wrapped in plastic shrinkwrap. Signed by the Author. Easton's ""SIGNED FIRST EDITION"" series. First signed limited leather-bound edition, limited to the number of subscribers at the time, but limitation number unstated. By contract with the trade publishers, Easton's sheets must be printed first. We've been told, but cannot verify, that they make an extra effort to insure first distribution by sending out some of the locally distributed copies as soon as they're bound. This, of course, does not guarantee first distribution. We have been able to ascertain that, for some titles at least, Easton's first is the true first or sometimes first American or first hardcover edition. Gilt lettering and raised bands on spine, gilt stamping on front and back covers, all edges of book gilt, silk endpapers, archival quality acid-negative pages, silk ribbon bookmark attached, with laid-in publisher's bookplate (unused, unsigned), as issued by the publisher.
