A grateful Scrambler, Fran Tarkenton." Beneath Tarkenton's is an inscription from "Granddad Young", gifting the book to a grandson: "Please take care of this book. I give it to you that you will read about one of the greatest quarterbacks football has ever known. He is a good friend of Granddad. Granddad Young. Dec. 1, 1982."
