A very scarce book that was published by Marshall Dubin following the two famous 1199 Union (Hospital Workers--mainly African American and Hispanic) strike in New York City in 1959 and 1962. This Union was said to be Martin Luther King's favorite Union. There are a number of photos and many poems about the strikes. It is inscribed and signed on the cover by the Author--to another famous civil rights person---H. L. Montague (I think he was a lawyer?) The covers have some nicks and edge wear.
