Inscribed on front free end page: "To Dr. Paul Schiller, inspiring teacher and creative thinker. David Weschler 11/1/35." Schiller was an Austrian psychoanalyst known in particular for his concept of body image and group therapy. The author of course was the originator of the landmark WAIS and WISC, the standard intelligence tests for adults and children, respectively, and this book explores his early work in that area. Weschsler and Schiller apparently crossed paths at Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital and N.Y.U. Good plus condition, light wear at top of the spine and vertical scuff mark on the front board.
