Portait frontispiece, full page and in-text illustrations by Hyppolite de la Charlerie engraved by Meyer-Heine, Lignym Sargent, and Guillaume. Includes a short autobiography of the author. Old restoration to corner tips and spine ends, sporadic foxing, small faint stain to the upper edge of a few of the leaves, some minor scuffs to covers, light fading to spine.
