16pp. Yellow and black paper covered boards on front and red & black on rear with black lettering. One of seven short stories published in the Clarion Tales series. Printed in a limited edition of 499 copies. Copies 1-249 have been signed by the author and illustrator. This book is not numbered but is SIGNED by the author and the illustrator on the colophon. Illustrations, incl frontis, are reproduced in orange line on white paper throughout. Laid in is an additional illustration signed by the artist. Single tiny tone spot on edge of fore edge. Otherwise in fine condition. Undated but listed as published in 1995 in Sonia Lawson's bibliography. Cambridge University Libraries archive give 1996 as the year of publication. The Bookshop at Beech Cottage trades exclusively via the internet. I acquire most of my stock through a network of suppliers based in southern England. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit. I am a former librarian and read for pleasure - as many booksellers do! I take great care of my books while they are staying at Beech Cottage and would only ask my customers that they do likewise.
