Binding and hinges are strong and sound. Yellow cloth is bright and clean; minimal minor soiling on rear panel. Small vintage name stamp on FFEP. Rear pastedown/endpaper shows ample foxing. Original DJ with 12s 6d net price on flap. Minor sun-darkening to white title on spine. Tiny chip on rear shoulder. Slight soiling to DJ rear. Small faint stain on bottom page edges. All flaws noted. An incredibly important memoir by the Nobel laureate, sharing his Holocaust experiences in the Nazi concentration camps at Auschwitz and Buchenwald in 1944?1945.
