First Edition. SIGNED by the author on the title page. Basis for the classic 1961 John Huston film starring Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe. Very Good plus in a Very Good plus dust jacket. Board edges lightly foxed, with small bumps on the bottom fore-edge corners. Jacket lightly edgeworn, with faint fading on the spine as is often found, but complete, with no loss.
