Large paperback. 29.5 × 21cm, 203pp. Signed and dedicated to the title page by Peter Carrick-Adams, to Anne Powell, historian, anthologist and author on the First and Second World Wars. A comprehensive history of 143rd Infantry Brigade, illustrated with maps and photographs. The main body of text is formed of the Brigade's service in the Great War, where they were on the Western Front from 1915 to 1917, from 1917 they were in Italy. They saw action in the first months of the Second World War but then were stationed in England until 1945. The book also lists Divisional and Brigade Commanders.
