About this Item
Inscribed and dated by the author on the front flyleaf. "The story of two Northerners caught in a backwash of violent hatreds and prejudices", this novel depicts the violence incited by Ku Klux Klan, which Lauria witnessed first hand while traveling with a carnival in the Deep South. Small octavo. Original light blue cloth binding, with black titles. The spine is a touch faded, with a bit of light mottling to the boards. Some general toning to the dust jacket; otherwise very good. Seller Inventory # 77344
