1949. First Edition. 283 pages. Signed by the author. Pictorial dust jacket over green cloth. Signed by the author with dedication to front free endpaper. Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Water staining to text block edges. Text is unaffected. Boards have slight edge wear with corner bumping. Mild sunning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning. Unclipped jacket. Panels have heavy edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Large areas of loss to edges and spine. Water marks overall. Seller Inventory # 1662556498PRT
