Signed presentation from Creasey on front endpaper, to Gertrude Sternbergh- to whom he dedicated at least one book and whose house appears on the front panel of the dust jacket: "Here's proof, whatever you say that the artist who did the dust cover had SECOND SIGHT! John." Also with a color snapshot of Sternbergh standing in front of her Victorian home "Stirling" in Reading, Pennsylvania and with Creasey's literary agent's nameplate on the front endpaper. Additional signed by Creasey on the title page. Signed Creasey books are uncommon.
