First edition hardcover, sewn-bound in black cloth, with name "Bacon" blind-stamped on cover, and with silver lettering on spine, is in NF condition, having a tiny nick at bottom on spine. Dust jacket, enclosed in protective mylar (mylar not pictured), is in G condition, having some wear to edges, a wrinkle on front, overall light surface wear, and former owner's name written in ball-point pen ink at top of front flap. The book, part of the "Abbeville Modern Masters" series, is INSCRIBED BY AUTHORS HUGH DAVIES AND SALLY YARD on half-title page. A look at the paintings of Francis Bacon, with biographical background.
