This ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET is in nice shape considering the age and weakness of the paper. There is light chipping to the extremeties and one small chip to the top spine. Besides some wear to the panels, and minor discolorization along the edges, this dustjacket is attractive. The book is in excellent condition. The yellow cloth is bright, and the labels have minimal rubbing. The binding is tight, and the pages are clean with slight wear to the edges. SIGNED by the author on the half-title page just below the title "Winesburg, Ohio." Small leather bookplate on the upper left corner of the front pastedown with slight offsetting to the front endpaper. The yellow cloth is lightly soiled, more so to the spine which is sunned as well. The white paper spine label is intact, though a little wrinkled and soiled. Contents are tight and clean. Housed in a plain black cloth slipcase. Lacks the rare dustwrapper.
