About the Author:

Bernhard Edmaier is a civil engineer and geologist, who has photographed earth and its oceans for over 20 years. He is the author of such books as EarthSong, Earth on Fire, and Earth. Angelika Jung- Hüttl is a geologist and writer whose work has appeared in numerous newspapers and popular scientific magazines. She has worked closely with Edmaier for more than two decades.
