About the Author:

Frits Gierstberg is Professor of Photography at the Erasmus University and curator of the Nederlands FotoMuseum in Rotterdam. He has curated numerous exhibitions of contemporary photography and written extensively about the topic. Till-Holger Bolchert is Chief Curator at the Groeningemuseum in Bruges, Belgium. He is the author of Masterpieces in Detail: Early Netherlandish Art from Van Eyck to Bosch (Prestel).
