The National Trust and the Public Catalogue Foundation have collaborated to produce catalogues of all oil paintings in National Trust houses across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. This catalogue includes pictures and captions of around 2,000 paintings located at National Trust properties in Buckinghamshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, including the collections at Ickworth, Belton House and The Rothschild collection at Waddesdon Manor. The oil painting collection at Anglesey Abbey is the largest of its kind in any National Trust property. Interesting paintings are described from Oxburgh, Blickling and Felbrigg Halls as well as those from more unusual properties such as the King s Head Inn in Aylesbury, The Workhouse in Southwell, Tattershall Castle, and Hartwell House Historic House Hotel in Buckinghamshire. Paintings by Andrea del Sarto, Cuyp, Boucher, Bonington and Tissot are included.
