    About the Author:
    James Wild is a senior coach working within the area of physical athletic preparation. Using a combination of strength and conditioning and biomechanics techniques he has supported Olympic, Commonwealth, European and World Championship competitors and their coaches to improve speed and overall physical preparation.

    Currently James is a speed and agility consultant for professional rugby and football teams and is the lead strength and conditioning coach for the English Lacrosse Women s senior squad.

    He is also an athletics coach and an active researcher in the biomechanics and motor control of accelerative sprint running.
