Synopsis

On the eve of World War II, a divided nation faces an uncertain future. Only one American in four favors becoming involved in world affairs. About the Author:

Stephen E. Stanley grew up in Bath, Maine, and attended the University of Southern Maine where he studied English literature and anthropology. In graduate school he studied classroom computing and technology at Leslie University, and teacher mentoring at the University of New Hampshire. Mr. Stanley taught high school English and became the district teacher mentor for a large New Hampshire school system. He currently lives in New Hampshire with his partner and their two pug dogs.
