Andrew Homer has written extensively on the Black Country and Shropshire and is the author of two previous books. He has presented lectures to a range of organisations over the years and appeared on local and national television. After a career as a College Lecturer Andrew now works as a Costumed Demonstrator at the Black Country Living Museum and can be found explaining the history of the buildings and the stories of the people who helped forge the Black Country. When not involved in working or writing Andrew enjoys collecting local ghost stories, particularly those which have historical connections. He also enjoys a pint of real ale preferably served in a traditional Black Country pub.
