The author spent over 30 years solving all types of typical and very difficult roof related problems on all types of roofs. Specializing in commercial and industrial roof leak emergency calls in all seasons under every weather condition. His hopes is to help give direction to other repairmen and women so they can have an advantage rather than struggle through what should have been simple roof repairs. There has been no training for him, and this is what he offers from his experience to help others who need more information when it comes to searching out the most difficult to find roof related problems. "Even the smallest hint can change everything" is one of his favorite sayings. Every time it rains he says, "Hear that?, pennies from heaven" is also one of his favorite sayings. J. L. Foster suffered a traumatic brain injury and no longer works in the field. He does hope this final contribution will encourage others to add to his life's work in increasing the understanding of the craft.
