Augustus T. Poopernickle is a nine-year-old boy struggling with his ever-present clumsiness. About the Author:

Growing up in Montrose, Pennsylvania, I've had lots of experience with small-town living. I spent my childhood running around the countryside in the woods behind our house. My brother and I spent hours playing on our rock fort and lots of summers playing in the cool creek. One summer we raised chickens and a rooster and for many years we had a dog named Dusty. I've always had a love for small town living but have an ever-present urge to travel and to experience new adventures. Camping is one of my most favorite things to do and I love experiencing the great outdoors with my two daughters and my husband. We currently reside on a 2-acre piece of land with a dog and cat and over 200 koi fish and I also own a health food store. Augustus is my first book and I hope that many more will follow.
