About the Author:

Mark De-Lisser is a vocal coach on BBC's 'The Voice' and lead mentor on Gareth Malone's new TV show, 'The Naked Choir'. Driven by his love for teaching, Mark has taught at Westminster University, The BRIT School and The Academy of Contemporary Music, as well as running multiple masterclasses for Kingston University and The British Voice Association. In 2003, Mark formed Singology; a community gospel choir based in central London which has since grown its membership base to include eight additional choirs across the capital. Mark founded th first Gospel Choir at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford. The ACM Gospel Choir went on to become semi-finalists in the BBC s Last Choir Standing in 2008 and now perform regularly at a range of public, private and industry events across the country.
