Jon Talton is the author of eight novels, including the David Mapstone mysteries as well as "The Pain Nurse." He has been an editor and columnist for the "Dayton Daily News, Cincinnati Enquirer, Rocky Mountain News, Charlotte Observer, "and "Arizona Republic."
