About the Author:

Jon Washington is a veteran of the Rock 'n Roll music business. Born in Rugby, England and raised in the large industrial city of Coventry, Washington first came to America as a part of music's 'British Invasion' in 1965. Since then, he has amassed an impressive array of credits as a singer, songwriter, musician and actor. He has recorded both as a band member and as a solo artist with great success over the last forty years, and still records and performs today. His experience and insight into the fascinating, and sometimes corrupt, world of Rock 'n Roll music is self-evident in his book, "The Fire Within".¿ Adding author to his already long list of accomplishments gives his readers the benefit of his years of experience spent making a living in the volatile world of commercial music. Jon Washington currently makes his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
