Synopsis

Born in the 11th district of Paris in 1933, Michel Delacroix's childhood left an indelible impression that continues to inspire his sensibilities. Painting and drawing have always been his mode of expression, his driving force. He pursued formal training in the plastic arts and realized theatrical stage sets in his early professional years. He has taught painting in France and Germany and has given lectures in the USA. His works have been exhibited widely in the United States and his exhibitions abroad include the Basel Art Fair in Basel, Switzerland, the Conciergerie in Paris, exhibitions in Frankfurt, Rheda Wiedenbruck, Berlin and Tokyo. His works are included in the Musee d'Art Naif in Paris and the Musee d'Art de l'Ile de France at Vicq, as well as the permanent collection of the Ministry of Culture in Paris and in numerous private collections.
