B.K.S. Iyengar was born in India in 1918 and has been teaching yoga for 60 years. Today there are 180 Iyengar Yoga Institutes in 40 countries. Internationally recognized as a leading authority on hatha yoga, B.K.S. has established its relevance to the treatment and cure of many illnesses and stress-related conditions.
