About the Author:
Constance Crawford, a graduate of the Creative Writing department at Stanford University, has sold fiction to Mademoiselle, Seventeen, and McCalls. She is the author of The Muse of Menus, Stories from Life and Cooking which includes a chapter about Babette, whom she has known since 1952. She lives and writes in Palo Alto and Santa Cruz, California.
