Album of original Skye photos, 85 in all, mainly smaller sizes. At a guess taken no later than 1900. Mostly unidentified persons; Several of Portree, a pier possibly Uig. Various locations identifiable by the background topography. Sea Lochs, one with a naval gunboat. Three photos loose; one with the inscription "Taken just a stone's throw from our back gate." Another with inscription "The old lighthouse, Formby, in the distance." Possibly a family connection to Lancashire. A fascinating and original family archive, could the persons be identified.
