The correspondences are all to Ashliegh ------ who served time in several prisons in California c2006-2008. [She is the one pictured in the enclosed snapshot]. Included are letters, cards, a photograph, copies of jail paperwork etc. Most of the letters are from her friends also prisoners in the system. The letters are in local Cali argot. Expressions of undying affection for Ashleigh- from men and women alike, animus toward the justice system, hope for the future, and sex.
