ALS on paper, 2-sided, headed Mark Hambourg Concert at the London Coliseum, Sunday, May 16th at 2.30 pm. Dated April 18, 1920. Addressed to the prominent socialite Lady Wavertree, advising her of a forthcoming benefit concert, asking her support in a campaign to save the London Fever hospital from closure. Hambourg (1879-1960) was a Russian virtuoso pianist, one of the leading pianists of the early19th C, touring widely and living in London for most of his life. Seller Inventory # 019289
