7" x 10 1/4" letter from author Merle Colby to Kelsey Guilfoil - book critic of the Chicago Tribune. Typed letter with a Arthur Newmyer & Associates, Wash. D.C. letterhead. Signed in aqua ink by Colby. Dated May 25, 1949. Colby thanks Guilfoil for his review of Merle's book. It's not stated but it refers to Colby's 1949 book "The Big Sercret". Laid paper. Foxing along very top and left side of letter. Good condition. Seller Inventory # 13970
