THE BOOK WAS PUBLISHED BY THE HISTORICAL LIBRARY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS. THE PAPER'S HEADING IS " SATURDAY NIGHT". THERE IS A FULL PAGE STORY CONTAINING 5 CHAPTERS THAT IS TITLED " MISSING! OR THE CIPHER DISPATCHES. A STORY OF CHICAGO". BY A U. S. DETECTIVE. THE STORY BEGINS OUTSIDE OF THE PALMER HOUSE. THERE ARE 5 CHAPTERS ON THE FRONT PAGE . THE TOWN WAS SITUATED AT THE CROSSROADS OF TWO RAILROAD LINES WHERE PASSENGERS WOULD SWITCH TRAINS WHILE TRAVELING TO THEIR DESTINATIONS. THIS IS AN INTERESTING EPHEMERAL ARTIFACT OF A PIONEER RAILROAD TOWN. THERE IS A THREE INCH CLOSED TEAR OF THE PAPER ALONG ONE EDGE. THIS IS A RARE EPHEMERAL ITEM OF ILLNOIS RAILROAD HISTORY.
