An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated April 12th 1930 featuring a main article on Kew Palace, A Royal Residence, built by Samual Fortrey in 1631. With a seven page write up with black and white illustrations of the property exterior, interior decor, furnishings and plans. Also featuring an article on A Lesser Country House of 'Moor Winstow', Dore in Derbyshire, designed by Mr. Norman M. Doncaster, with a 2 page write up and black and white illustrations of the interior, exterior and plans of the house. Country Life Magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers and renovators and anyone interested in the history of the building. They have an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was at that time.
