Small format hardback tightly bound in blue quarter cloth with white titles over grey paper on boards, colour plate laid down to front cover, cloth has minor rubbing at corners, frontispiece & title page illustration have been partly hand-coloured, and some page corners have been neatly repaired, but most pages are O.K., no inscriptions. Spine & endpapers are a recent professional replacement. 60 pages, beautiful colour illustrations. Uncommon childrens book, no printed date but the British Library gives 1905.
