Uncommon children's fiction by Dorothy King. Illustrated in b&w by Ethel K. Burgess. Includes frontispiece. Blackie's Easy to Read Books. No date (apparently circa 1933). The book has a timeless quality to it, with ink illustrations in the style of traditional woodcuts & large bold letterpress-type font. Printed in Great Britain. Bound in publisher's original colour pictorial boards, backed by grey unlettered spine. Slight handling wear, former owner's ink notation to half-title page, bookseller's small label to front pastedown, small loss to lower spine, otherwise a nice clean tight solid hardcover copy. 64pp. Uncommon title. SB-1.
