This is a first edition copy of A Winter Sports Alphabet by Joyce Dennys, illustrated by Joyce Dennys, and verses by "EVOE" (EVOE was the pen name of Edmund George Valpy Knox).The book is in near fine condition with some shelf wear, and has an inscription on the half title page from 1931, but the initials don't seem to match the authors. The book is filled with color illustrations throughout. The dust jacket is in very good condition with slight chipping to the top and bottom, and is protected by a mylar jacket.
