Printed by Scribner's in New York for Hodder but no specfic date other than copyright (as shown). Form is consistant with the true first. The title page has the author, publisher and a vertical line of capital letters printed in orange. Insc "Diana Bonham Carter 1924" on fep (her father had been killed at Ypres). Gilt title etc on spine, black on front board. Prints on spine, fox head, animal head, tracks, rabbit etc on front board. Slightly scuffed, edges of pages dust discoloured.
