First and likely only printing. Small folio measuring 12 1/4" x 11". Illustrated in full, bold colors typical of the Volland books. There are four spinning wheels, creating seven changing pictures. The last page, or reverse of the seventh illustrated page, shows the working wheels. There is no picture here and there is nothing torn out or seemingly removed or damaged. I believe there should be a picture here so I cannot explain this. Great and unusual mechanisms and, but for some minor rubbing to the covers, in nearly fine condition. A bit of light-colored, minor discoloration to the lower spine area. IN THE ORIGINAL TWO PART BOX WITH ART THAT MATCHES THE FRONT COVER OF THE BOOK. While I have seen a few copies of the book over the years, usually in very worn condition, I have never seen the box before. It does have a few side splits but the corners are very good and solid.
