Size: 10 1/2" x 8 1/4". Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Black cloth over boards, 191 pages, extensively illustrated in black and white. This book is signed and inscribed by Nathan Hale to fellow sculptor Juan Nickford on front free end paper. Juan Nickford (1925-2001) as a member of the Sculptor's Guild and exhibited his work at the Whitney Museum and the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Minor staining on end papers, a couple of marks on fore-edge. In an illustrated dust jacket that is heavily damaged, missing a large portion of the rear flap, has been preserved in a Brodart jacket.
