Intensely moving story about Cornish Methodism and Miners, set in H. D. Lowry's home town of Camborne, West Cornwall. The Author's early death in 1906 left the work unfinished, which was later completed by his Cousin C. A. Dawson Scott. Complete with Dustjacket having original price of 7/6 on the spine. Undated Edition, early 20th C. Dark Grey cloth cover with Black Lettering to front and spine and Black Linear Border. 279 Pages, 360g,.7 3/4" Tall. Small spots of browning on fore page edges. Spine leaning a little. No inscriptions. Jacket has slight edge wear and 2 small closed tears at top edge (1/4" and 1/2" long), repaired from inside with clear tape. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" Tall.
