First edition, first printing of book and dust jacket. Dark reddish-orange cloth with front cover and spine stamped in gilt; blind-stamped bus on the front cover showing up lighter than the rest of the binding; top edges stained green; in the original colorful dust jacket priced $2.75. A nearly fine, fresh copy with the gilt quite bright; in a very good plus, mildly age-toned and lightly used dust jacket with a short tear and several creases to the upper rear panel, a vertical crease along the spine and edge of the front panel (from folding), and nicks to the spine extremities and flap fold corners. Jacket design by Robert Hallock. The film version of The Wayward Bus was released in 1957; the cast included Jayne Mansfield and Joan Collins. Goldstone A23. Seller Inventory # ABE-1651087112242
