Reproduces trhe author's large collection of amateur photographs of (mostly) women in swimsuits, "Sifted from albums and shoeboxes", from the 1890s or so in to the 1950s, with a very few more recent, mostly b/w or sepia-toned, a few in color. Self-published through the Blurb website in 2008, no longer available there, nor can we discover anything about the collector. The photos are well-reproduced, enlarged from their original size, uncropped and unaltered; mostly one to a page. Hardcover in jacket, as pictured. Light wear to book; jacket shows minor dents & dings, small waterstain to lower rear panel, contexts unaffecrted. Unpaginated, about [118] pages, almost all with photos. Size: 13" by 11".
