First edition. 110pp. Notable Delaware architect's copy with his decorative bookplate, gutter cracked, spine label darkened and nicked on edges, very good without dustwrapper. A poet of the landscape, Crowninshield, born in Boston in 1845, was an artist in water-color and stained glass, a teacher of art, and an architect. Hew was a former director of the American Academy in Rome for two years and died in Italy in 1918. The book is divided into three parts: In America, In Italy, and In Greece. Seller Inventory # 458156
