1st Edition 1939. Correct 1st state jacket without red bordering to front picture. Wonderful drawings by Edward Ardizzone. Book is very good+ and bright. Corner bump affecting internal pages ad front top edge. Contents good. Endpaper foxed. The wrapper is very good and quite bright. Edges rubbed, creased and nicked. All overseas orders with priority shipping (8 days+) will be sent by either tracked airsure or international signed for. The slower postal rates (14 days +) will be sent by standard airmail and will take longer to arrive. We recommend to all our customers to use the priority shipping as this is a much quicker and secure method of shipment.
All books where possible will be sent in wrap around cardboard boxes and bubble wrapped.
