This classic fairy tale features Undine, a water spirit who marries a knight in order to have a soul. Newspaper clipping about UNDINE neatly mounted to the inside front cover, offsetting from clipping and former owner's 1911 short inscription to the front end-paper, spine titles somewhat flecked, light rubbing at the lower spine edge and corner tips, else very good in green linen with cream embossed titles and a raised bright gilt medallion portrait to the front cover; no dust jacket.
