Binding extremities scuffed and rear board briefly peeled, old tape residue to front pastedown, front free endpaper brittle and separated but present with repeating contemporary ownership signatures of a Joseph Ridder (or Kidder?) and Asa H. Revers (?), else a Good to Very Good, internally sound copy. Pre-Revolutionary fire and brimstone from a leading Boston Congregationalist minister: "In the midst of this general devastation, they will behold the Lord in the air, coming to take vengeance on a guilty world" (pp. 200-1).
